Meet the team: Kasia Radajewska

It’s an enormous source of pride for Denka that we’re the only UK distributor for TBR – a pioneering dental implant system developed by specialists in France and revered the world over.

TBR’s Z1 tissue-level implant is changing the face of restorative dentistry one tooth at a time, offering one-step surgery and incomparable healing for faster, simpler, more comfortable procedures. We are thrilled to announce that we recently appointed Kasia Radajewska as our National Implant Specialist for TBR in order to disseminate awareness and knowledge about this incredible system amongst our customers. Kasia has been incredibly busy since she arrived at Denka just a few weeks ago, but we managed to catch up with her to get to know her a little better…

Hi Kasia! It’s great to have you on board at Denka. Tell us a little more about your professional journey to this point…

Hello – and thanks! I’ve been here for 4 weeks now and I’m really enjoying it so far although I’ve been super busy! I’m actually originally from Poland and when I was living there my intention was to become a journalist. I studied journalism back home, but when I moved to the UK I started working for a medical company, and then moved into dentistry where I found my true passion – and I’ve never looked back.

Can you tell us a bit about your new role?

My official job title is National Implant Specialist. That means I’m responsible for establishing and growing the TBR brand right across the UK. A large part of my role is awareness and training so I will be spending a lot of time over the coming months going out on the road to deliver information sessions and seminars to clinicians, introducing them to TBR, supplying them with product and continuous support for their TBR journey. I’m also responsible for the administrative side of sales – so supplying quotes, forecasting, placing orders, managing stock and things like that.

What’s your favourite thing about your role so far – and what’s the most challenging thing?

My favourite thing is working with clinicians, nurses and patients, helping patients to get their smiles, ability to chew and confidence back – very rewarding! The most challenging thing is trying to be everywhere at the same time! It’s a national role so it’s quite demanding and requires me to have fantastic organizational skills!

If you didn’t work at Denka, what would your dream job be?

I would definitely still work in the dental or medical sector. Maybe I’d be an orthopaedic surgeon – I broke my spine in a car accident when I was eight years old and I’ve been fascinated with their work ever since.

Do you have any hobbies or interests away from work?

I’m interested in music and languages, and I love to travel. I also write short stories and poems. By the time I was 15 I had visited every country in Europe except Croatia – I’m finally getting to tick that one off my bucket list in a few weeks’ time when I visit Zagreb.

Name a food you love that your dentist would disapprove of?

Oranges, and chocolate (thankfully I am allergic to it!)

What’s the one thing that always makes you smile?

Seeing other people smile.
